Onil Lad

Born in England, I relocated to Australia in 2003 and spent 7 years in Darwin before moving down to Perth last year.

Having written short stories in the travel, science fiction and horror genres, I enrolled in The Australian Literature Review’s Novel Manuscript Development Program to finally write the novel that had been stuck in reverse for the last year.

Inspired by the books of Philip K. Dick and Chuck Palahniuk, Say No Bad Words is an Urban Fantasy tragi-farce, about escaping the ghosts of the past and the meaning of heroism, when your world begins to unravel in the shallowest possible ways.
